I'll take you to the candy shop

I'll take you to the candy shop...
Hello all
Wearing some of my favourite pieces in this shoot, a good eclectic mix of high street and 'thrift shop' goodies.
My shirt has to be one of my most worn garments, it's so comfy! I came across this timeless printed decadence in a charity shop 'British Heart Foundation', naturally  Must have been few quid at least.
These trousers raised up to my armpits are from 'All Saints', when I originally got them I didn't see their potential but as time went by... I saw how to bring out the inner beauty in these staple trousers. A high waist with a tight clinch will do wonders to make the most of your outfit. Quite a funny story how I got them bad boys, a sales assistant wanted a chewing gum which I gladly shared with her, in return she gave me her staff discount
My pink candy stripe socks are 'House of Holland', which I also have in blue / green / orange! CAN'T GET ENOUGH SOCKS?!
Shoes are Zara... And I'm done! Have a good week ya'll.

Nipple Cripple

HELLO YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!

Long time coming.... I THINK SO!

So once again, many components to this outfit, lets start with the top half this time; so instead of being bland and wearing my traditional work gear I arrived rocking this beauty of a t-shirt which possesses the imagery of 'nipple tassels' :) This is of course created by one of my favourite designers 'House Of Holland', layered above this I decided to go with just the casual checked flannel shirt which I discovered in a vintage Brighton boutique for £5! On top for a bit of gangsta lovin, I threw on my 'Topshop Unique' hoodie which will always be a handy timeless statement.

Bottom half included a pair of blue denim jeans just from 'Topman', which are happily comfortable and yet able to style in multiple functions. Now on to my socks... :) today I had on two pairs, yes TWO! First pair being a light shade of pink which I recently purchase at 'Uni Qlo', four pairs for £9.90... I think it was AMAZING! For some more hoodness, I added on a pair of 'Puma' ankle socks, I don't generally wear two pairs, just a matter of needing too with these trainers as they are just a tad on the big side for my ickle feet. Best for last, these bad boys are of course 'Adidas', I've had these for yearrrrrrs. Found them in the adidas store in Portsmouth, not even sure if it's still there :s I've not seen anyone else in these gems to date ;-)

That's it kids, Enjoy your weekend yo! PEACE OUT.

So my life at the moment pretty much consists of STYLING non-stop that's why we haven't blogged in a while! Not that I'm complaining,I absolutely love it and have been lucky enough to style lots of exciting shoots in London. The last couple of months I have also been interning at ModDolly which has been a great experience due to its lovely owner Amy and the fun we have had shooting the lookbooks and developing the brand. Also you may have noticed I've switched up my hairstyle, what do you think ?

IGGY DO IT BIGGIE

Okay so this post is not about Iggy Azalea's music, rap rivals or even her rumoured relationship with Asap Rocky. It is about her immaculate attention to detail, love her or hate her you have to admit her image is flawless. In particular I am a big fan of her make-up which never fails to disappoint with it's super highlighting and contouring into oblivion. Her hairstyle is another thing that I am extremely fond of, she normally rocks a full croydon facelift which I absolutely love because it shows her RAW beauty.

We are always aspiring to achieve that "effortless" look however I for one am not a massive fan of spending time creating a look that leaves me looking slightly dishevelled .Give me early mornings and bright lipstick any day.I love taking pride in my appearance and the art of dressing up properly is one that is slowly diminishing clothing is getting way to casual for my liking, just take a stroll through Primark...

SCHOOLED

Denim dress off of the charity shop fiver /Vintage Jaeger Blazer also from chazzy shop £9

So channelling a kind of Wednesday Adams/school girl vibe today ,what do you think ? Quite a different look for me today and even though y'all know I love to switch it up it's rare that I ever wear something as plain as this.I really want to tie-dye this dress crazy colours but Jacob (the voice of reason) has talked me out of it and we have decided to keep it as a classic piece. My hair is a fishtail plaint pulled out with a rolled fringe RETRO STYLE. Currently I'm in the process of growing it out until I resemble Pocahontas/Princess Jasmine.
